Instructions for Using Moodle
for First-Time Articulation Moodle Users

You only have to complete this process the first-time you use the Articulation Testing Site.

Step 1: The first time you access the Articulation Testing Site, open your Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla, etc.)

Step 2:	Open the Articulation Web site at http://articulate.northeaststate.edu/default.htm and click the    icon at the top of the page:

Step 3: You should now be at the Moodle entry page:

Step 4:  Before you can access the Articulation Testing Site you must first create an account. Choose Login.

Creating a Moodle account

You are now at the Login screen. If you have already created an account on a previous visit, login using the Returning to this web site? area.  If this is your first time to the Moodle site, click on Create a new account.

The email field is used to send a confirmation message to you.  If you do not have an email address, you can either sign up for a free email account from Yahoo (http://www.yahoo.com/)  but do not enter a dummy email address. Just know that if you do not have an accurate email address the login will not work.

In the text boxes provided key in the information requested. All areas with red asterisks * are required fields and must have data entered.  When you are finished, click on Create my new account.

You will be sent a confirmation to your e-mail account which you must read and follow the instructions in order to complete the account creation process.  This must be done before you can log into the web site.

Step 5:   You are now returned to the login page where you will use your new userid and password to log into the web site.

Step 6:  After creating your account and logging in, you will choose the class to join.  You must enroll yourself into the class in order to take the Pre-Tests.

Step 7:  You may now choose the Pre-Test to take.

You have successfully completed the self-registration process.
